Fifty Shades Darker Avoids NC-17 Rating: Sequel Rated R for Graphic Nudity and Sexual Content

November 10, 2016 - Fifty Shades of Grey

The big doubt per a rarely anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey sequel has been answered.

Like its 2015 predecessor, Fifty Shades Darker has been given a R-rating for “strong amorous passionate content, some striking nakedness and language,” according to a matter from a MPAA performed by E! News.

Although a film’s central trailer teases a steamy showering stage and copiousness of passionate tension, a bury house did not give a film a NC-17 rating many who are informed with a strike E.L. James’ literary array feared.

The arriving crack will see Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan‘s lapse to a large shade to reprise their roles as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.

Kim BasingerEric Johnson, Bella Heathcote, Luke Grimes, Marcia Gay Harden, Robin Lee, Hugh Dancy, Rita Ora and others are also reportedly sealed on for a film.

Fifty Shades Darker is slated to strike theaters Feb. 10, 2017. The final installment in a saga, Fifty Shades Freed, arrives a year later, on Feb. 9, 2018.
