Fifty Shades of Grey Director Says Making a Film Was ‘Like Walking a Knife …
January 23, 2015 - Fifty Shades of Grey
“I’m literally going out of my mind,” she tells Red for a Mar issue, that hits U.K. newsstands Jan. 29. “I have seen this film over a thousand times and … a nuances within – a minute shift, look, blink of an eye – can make all a disproportion and flip it into a wrong territory. It’s like walking a blade edge.”
Much like Anastasia Steele’s mixed with a deceit Christian Grey, Taylor-Johnson, 47, says she’s been breathless ever given she sealed on for a project.
“The impulse we stepped out of a meeting, we stepped onto one of those bullet trains. The doors sealed and we couldn’t get off. The speed, a velocity, was unbelievable. we need to get off and breathe and consider about something else,” she says.
One thing that done a filming routine a bit easier? Jamie Dornan, who apparently done a really mild Christian Grey.
“Jamie’s humorous since he doesn’t seem to feel any of a pressure. Or uncover he feels it,” she says. “Everything washes over him and he’s constantly happy. He’s such a honeyed and poetic man.”
That opinion came in accessible when they met with several folks in a illusion universe for, we know, research.
“Jamie and we had to lay and accommodate several dominants and dominatrix, only to make certain we accepted that world; so that we in no approach portrayed it incorrectly,” she explains.

With Grey’s set to strike theaters on Feb. 13, Taylor-Johnson can finally start to consider about holding some time off to be with her family, that includes father Aaron Taylor Johnson, who is 23 years her youth – and don’t even consider about analyzing their age difference.
“Tell them to f— off,” she tells a repository of disastrous comments they still receive. “If we adore someone, we adore someone. It doesn’t matter; age, color, c’mon!”
Now, she simply can’t wait for them to spend some-more time together.
“I don’t wish to do anything,” she says. “I feel wrung dry and we need to find some building bricks again. we don’t consider we could even harmonise a design right now. My artistic mind has to close down for a second. we need to be during home, put my feet up, feel calmer, eat good and hang out with a kids.”
