Why is this lady smiling?

I am going to write this blog post but regulating any subjugation puns, yet we theory my title (saying that a new E.L. James book is a “hit” could be seen as one).

Nope, I’m usually here to broach a news and afterwards prowl away. The news is that “Grey,” a supplement to a “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy told by a man’s indicate of perspective is a **** hit. Insert your possess adjective; cave is unprintable in a family newspaper.

The book came out final Thursday–just 4 days ago–and it has already sole some-more than a million copies (if we pile together imitation books, e-books and audio books).

One indicate one million books in 4 days

The sound we hear is me knocking my conduct opposite my desk.

James’ publisher, Vintage Books, is adult to a fifth copy already (did we discuss that a book usually came out final Thursday?) and there are now 2.1 million copies in print. Two million of these babies out there. So relax, there’s copiousness for everyone.

Late final week, readers were tweeting their favorite lines from a new book, regulating a hashtag #grey. That hashtag has been flattering most taken over by someone who is offered “fifty shades of grey” clothing–thongs distance 14, anyone? grey dried boots?–and ads for a DVD.

But if we plow past all a advertising, we can still unearth reader-favorite lines from “Grey,” such as: “Control is my center name, Sweetheart.” and, “I wake, with a start. Today, we win her back.” And “I totally got some, bro!” Also something about wanting to take her now, in this elevator.

Yep. Two indicate one million copies. Now we know because this lady is smiling.
