Parent says Walmart boys t-shirt too tighten to ‘Fifty Shades’?
March 30, 2015 - Fifty Shades of Grey
There’s zero humorous about a boys t-shirt for sale during Walmart that’s listed underneath “Boys Humor Graphic Tee,” if we ask Sarah Cervantes.
The black shirt has a gray tie on it that Cervantes says resembles a cover of a book “Fifty Shades of Grey.” She came opposite it during an Illinois Walmart, though it’s also accessible on Walmart.com. She thinks it’s promulgation a wrong a message.
“It was totally inapt to worship passionate violence, generally on a children. Especially a boys. We do so most to strengthen a girls . . . and afterwards we take these shirts on a boys and tell them they’re funny,” she said.
The shirt is for sale in a boys’ territory during Walmart and online.
Cervantes tweeted to Walmart, though didn’t get a response. A Walmart orator told ABC7 Chicago Eyewitness News conjunction a t-shirt nor any other sell is connected to “Fifty Shades of Grey.” That would need a chartering agreement, Walmart said.
A Walmart orator pronounced in a created statement: “We have carried shirts with ties on them for several years as these shirts are a renouned demeanour for boys. This sold shirt has been on shelves for scarcely a year. This shirt has positively no organisation with ’50 Shades of Grey,’ and we are confounded by a claim.”
Walmart does, however, sell a New York Times Best Seller book, that was done into a movie. It tells a story of an trusting college lady who is introduced to a universe of erotica and passionate mastery by a rich and absolute man.
“If an adult wants to review a book, that’s their prerogative,” Cervantes said.
